Busting the AOP Myth
Compare MicroPlasma Ozone Technology® systems to any “AOP” or “hydroxyl-based advance oxidation” system claiming to produce hydroxyl radicals as a superior oxidizer to ozone-only. The amount of hydroxyl radicals is directly commensurate to the amount of ozone dissolved in the water. The less ozone, the less hydroxyl radicals. In addition, ozone alone, when dissolved in water, at normal pool water pH, results in half ozone and half hydroxyl radicals as a natural occurrence. It does this all by itself, without the addition of UV.
